- Very impressed with the quality (review by CaliShooter on 2/17/2017)
This gun... Wow.
I absolutely love it! I'm partial to 1911s, and this is by far the highest quality for the money I've come across.
It's super accurate and very well made. I can't stress that enough.
Just picking it up for the first time and holding it, you have an immediate feel for its quality. No MIM parts, (I completely stripped the frame and polished it after receiving) and the hammer, sear, trigger, and main spring housing, of which the checkering really grabs your palm, all exude quality. I believe it is comprised of all match grade components, but not 100% sure, and at least the barrel is marked as such.
It has had no problems with 10 rd mags, something that CAN'T be said about my Kimber. I've had zero feed or ejection issues, again, something something Kimber. It runs like a dream.
My only complaint is that the .45 version of the PM7 has no front strap checkering.
Make sure to read the break in section in the manual if you buy one, or you'll risk seizing the slide on the frame due to the tight tolerances during manufacturing.
CenterfireGuns has great customer service. They emailed me on the weekend the day after I bought it in order to iron out some potential issues due to me living in Cali. The way they handled the situation was very professional and very much appreciated as they did not just straight up cancel the order, but instead reached out for clarification and resolution.
They verified my FFL, and the gun shipped out VERY quickly, and I was very happy with the price.
