I was skeptical at first given the extremely low price and that it is made in China. After reading enough reviews online I sensed it was a good deal the bad reviews I read seemed to be from people who didn't own an IAC Hawk 982 but just hated Chinese manufacturing. I took the plunge and ordered a handfull of these. I was pleasantly surprised to find that all of them were high quality. The fit and finish is on par if not better than the two mossberg 500's I've purchased. The magazine spring seems a little underpowered but havent had any feeding issues to make a valid complaint. Aftermarket Remington 870 parts will fit this shotgun, it is a true clone of the 870. The furniture that comes with the shotgun is very sturdy and robust it does not feel cheap at all. The gun is rock solid. However, the pump fore-end that comes with the shotgun is long and prevented me from installing a shell side-saddle carrier. It installed perfectly but the fore-end will not extend all the way back because it seems to be long and hits the shell side-saddle carrier before being able to fully eject a spent shell. So if you purchase a shell side-saddle carrier I would also get a shorter fore-end as well. Shooting it was a surprise as well. I was hitting clays with the ghost rings just as good I could hit the clays with my other shotguns. Slugs hit exactly where I aimed at a 25 yard target. Absolutely no regrets on purchasing these. I only hope that american ingenuity will bring the cost down and quality up wth USA made shotguns. At a two for one price and for the quality I dont know who would say no, even if it is Chinese made.
