- Top shelf 9mm (review by steven r on 8/19/2015)
This is my follow-up review for the IWI Jericho pl9 9mm. I finally got to shoot this masterpiece. Right out of the box i've put 300 rounds of remington 115 gr. ammo with absolutely no misfires. I haven't even cleaned it and i plan on shooting another 100 rounds and then I'll probably give it a wipe down. I did break the gun down and add some lube after 200 rounds. I'm not the best shot, but being that I haven't fired it from a bench, its fairly accurate. Recoil is short. not much kick at all. I'm seriously considering buying another one. Yes i know the stopping power of a 9mm isn't in the league of say a .40 or .45, but we all know it's about bullet placement. Without a doubt i would trust this gun if my life was in danger. hats off to IWI, considering this design is based off the cz75. I haven't shot any other cz75 clones so I can't really give a fair comparison. I called IWI U.S.. and spoke to qa tech about ammo. He said it ate every brand they fed it. The pl9 is a diamond in the rough.
- IWI jericho PL9 9mm (review by steven r on 7/30/2015)
Ordered this gun from CenterfireGuns on a Monday afternoon, received a call the next morning from the pawn shop I was using to transfer the pistol telling me that my pistol had arrived. I was blown away! Pistol was shipped free, and I suppose it was overnight express. Now that's what I call customer service. Pistol was in a nice hard plastic case, two magazines, cleaning brushes, and instruction manual. Pistol was beautiful. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yes but will do that this weekend. From all the positive reviews of the IWI Jericho PL9 I'm sure it will operate with no issues. I plan on shooting it right out of box. Will leave a follow up review. I will use CenterfireGuns in the future.
