- Perfect (review by Dave on 10/4/2015)
What a treat to get a pistol that is exactly what I want & not worry about changing anything. This Sig is 100% reliable, shooting over 200 rounds of FMJ plus several mags of various HP's after that. This is after it was cleaned & lubed when I received it. Shot everything without the slightest bobble, the HP's while very hot & dirty after the FMJ. It was in the high 90's here in south Texas when I broke it in.
Sights are precisely to the point of impact so was cool to shot out all the red on the bulls eye. The magazines are unusual in that the metal strip in the back of them used to fill in the space that a 40 S&W would use is kept in place by 6 pinched dents in the mag case. Looks a bit redneck although all the mags, the 2 that came with the pistol as well as the 4 I ordered from Sig were all 100% reliable. Just looks crappy the way they are pinched. Love the rounded heel on the grip, feels like a P220, the SS trim really pops. The Sig grips feel great & look awesome so no desire to change them. Just a beautiful pistol. The flat slide profile doesn't fit into some Kydex holsters but does fit OK into a Galco Concealable belt holster. Didn't fit my 1911 Jackass shoulder either.
Very satisfied with the Sig & would recommend it to anyone wanting a 5" 357 Sig. Just in another class well above a Glock regarding accuracy, feel in the hand, looks satisfaction of ownership. Show a buddy this Sig & it's oh wow dude that's awesome!
