- Follow Up To Initial Review (review by Evnbeta on 8/24/2014)
A 200 rd. visit to the range provided a big improvement : Wind and elevation adjustments improved accuracy significantly. No misfires this time around. Trigger is light, but long. Reset is also long, but all guns have their unique quirks and such. Recoil is slight and easily controlled. Easy to disassemble and clean. So far, so good.
- Taurus Hits a Home Run (review by Evnbeta on 7/21/2014)
On my first trip to the range, 200 rounds were fired. Wondered why if gun was tested at the factory, that sight and wind adjustments were badly misaligned. When corrected, performance was VG. If researching before purchase, be advised that praise is unanimous: weight, feel, sights, materials, balance, performance and value comes in this small package. Good for carry, accurate and 2nd strike capability is an advantage-four episodes of misfires easily corrected with a second pull. Being a new gun, I feel that after a break-in period of around 500 rounds, this will earn its 5 star rating all around. Price is definitely in the ballpark for hard-working gun advocates. This piece will stay in my collection for a while. Thanks CFG, for your efforts!
