Hammer-forged for tough performance and confidence-boosting accuracy, these decision-makers come with hand-fitted actions, and clean, crisp triggers right out of the box. It has a transfer bar safety and the Taurus Security System (TSS). This model 44 features a 4" ported barrel to reduce muzzle flip and felt-recoil, a fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight. It has a soft black rubber grip and a matte stainless steel metal finish.

This was the first firearm I have purchased through Centerfire Guns and I have to say, between the price, speed of delivery and problem free experience they are excellent. The Taurus model 44 in 44mag was everything that was advertised. The finish, lock up of the cylinder, and accuracy out of the box is outstanding.The ported barrel really modifies the recoil however some may choose to change to a stouter grip.The sights are adjustable and easy to pick up when firing.
