Details
Extremely comfortable to fire and easy to control, the Tracker Series maintains a high level of accuracy, rock-solid performance, and near-indestructible construction. The Model 627 revolver 357 Magnum has a 7-round cylinder, and makes a practical choice for backpacks and tackle boxes, especially where there are bears and other predators around. It has a transfer bar safety as well as the Taurus Security System. The 627 Tracker features factory-tuned barrel porting and a gas expansion chamber for recoil, as well as the ergonomic, shock-absorbing Ribber grip. It has a matte stainless steel metal finish with a fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight. This model has a 4" barrel.

Bought this on Jan 21, was shipped on Jan 22, FFL received it on Jan 23. That was really fast shipping! Went to the Range, pulled the gun out of the box, loaded it with 38 Special Ammo. The VERY FIRST shot fired hit the bullseye! No sight adjustment needed. Very pleased! (Posted on 1/31/2018)Rating - Good Gun

After you get the sights adjusted to your liking it's pretty accurate. When you fire the 357 ammo it really kicks with the 38 special ammo you can barely feel the recoil. Another feature I really like is the security key lock system which is a plus just in case you want to use it. The first time I fired it I used a high velocity 357 round without ear protection, I don't think I'll ever do that again my ears paid the price. I did fire 38 specials without ear protection they wasn't nearly as loud.
All said and done this is a good gun and I'll recommend it to anyone. The manual I received with the gun was for the titanium version this is the stainless steel version (34.6oz). Titanium version listed at 28.8oz. (Posted on 3/24/2015)
